I was born and raised in Southern California where I graduated from Biola University with a Major in Art Education and taught at a Middle School Long Beach.
In my final year at Biola I went on a short term mission trip to Guatemala. My life would never be the same. God touched my heart and I returned to Guatemala several times on short trips until 2003, when I felt God’s calling to Guatemala on a long term basis.
I have been living in Guatemala for two years volunteering as a teacher to the poor, through the Escuela Integrada, on the praise team in the local Spanish church, and working with Lighthouse Ministries.
